With Hitachi Data Discovery Suite, you can search across multiple data silos from a single interface, according to their access privileges via Microsoft Active Directory,  LDAP, and RADIUS integration. The data silos include email archives and snapshots or versions from remote locations. The Hitachi Data Discovery Suite also provides advanced storage management tools for Hitachi NAS and Hitachi Content Platforms with intelligent file tiering. This lets you use a flexible and extensible file content and metadata model to assign data to the most appropriate media whether it is — online, nearline or archive. This increases the overall storage environment efficiency with reduced backup times, faster retrievals and less duplication of data.
