Corporate : John Mansfield

John Mansfield was named to his current position in June 2007, after serving as vice president of Product Management at Hitachi Data Systems. Mansfield leads the company’s product design and technical strategies, product management, operations and overall product P&L. He has many years of product development and management experience, having worked in the telecommunications infrastructure, systems integration and software development markets.
Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Mansfield was the vice president of Product Management with StorageNetworks, a storage service provider based in Waltham, Massachusetts, and spent four years developing and deploying storage solutions for enterprise and e-commerce customers. Prior to StorageNetworks, he was a vice president with Sapient Corporation, a leading Web Integrator and Consultancy based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mansfield holds engineering degrees in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University. He also spent six year as a carrier pilot in the United States Navy.
